Lois McAllister’s Update Letter
July 2013
Dear New Creation Bible Church Family,
We are in the middle of our winter season down here in Chivilcoy, Argentina. The five young people from our church who went to Winter Camp had a good time, but I’m sure they are happy to be back home in their warm beds at night as the temperatures here have been around freezing during the night. During the day it is pretty cold also, in the 40s and 50s. We trust the Word of God and Christian fellowship warmed their hearts! This coming Sunday night, the 28th, they will be sharing testimonies about camp in church. Thanks for helping us through your prayer support. The whole group of young people from our church worked together to prepare a flag that represented our church at camp, a supper and a short play with a spiritual application for our whole church family in appreciation for an offering taken to help them go to camp. Please pray for our young people to grow in their walk with the Lord and to be a light to their unsaved friends. One girl, Sabrina, has invited her unsaved friend Jenni to Young People’s and she has been coming, but although she enjoys the young people, she is not very interested in the Gospel. Please pray with us that she will keep coming and that she would open her heart to the Word of God and be saved.
Friends’ Day here in Argentina was July 20th. We celebrated it at our church on Sunday the 21st. We are thankful to the Lord for those who were able to come, especially the three unsaved visitors who came. It was a very cold, rainy day! Please pray for the salvation of Nicolas, the man with whom Soledad lives, and the father of her two children. Also, for Laura and her 3 yr. old daughter, Luna, who were visitors from out of town. We are so thankful to the Lord that Soledad and her sister Andrea and their children are coming to church. They show evidence of salvation, so please pray with us for their growth in Christ. They are doing the Source of Light Bible Correspondence course at the moment. This is an excellent discipleship tool to use with new believers in teaching what salvation and the Christian life is all about.
Mira is one of the first believers in our church plant here in Chivilcoy. She has a niece by the name of Andrea, who has cancer and will begin chemotherapy soon. Andrea has been open to hearing about the Lord since she was discovered to have cancer. We thank the Lord that Mira has had the opportunity to share the Gospel with Andrea and lead her to receive Christ as Savior. Please pray with us for Andrea’s spiritual growth, for her health, and that she would be able to come to church.
The cataract operation went well that I had July 2nd to remove the cataract from my left eye. I thank the Lord for His help in all of this. A multifocal lens was implanted in both eyes, and now my eyes are healing and adjusting to the lens. I am not wearing glasses and can see fairly well although my sight is still a little blurry. Please pray with me that in time my sight will be real good without the use of eye glasses. I have been wearing glasses since I was 2 years old, so it seems really different, and nice, to not have to wear glasses!
Lois Kenney and I will be going to the States for Home Ministry around mid-March to the end of October 2014, Lord willing. This is earlier than what we had originally planned, mid-March 2015. Our co-workers, Pastor Tom and Debbie Gibbons, feel that they need to be here during this next year of 2014 because of the expected arrival to Chivilcoy of new co-workers, the James and Donnell Morrell family. So, Tom and Debbie Gibbons plan to wait until 2015 to go to the States for their Home Ministry. Please pray with us for the following:
Thank you for participating with me in this ministry through your prayers and financial support! I am looking forward to seeing you again!
Sincerely in Christ,
Lois McAllister

- that the Lord will raise up the financial support of the Morrell family soon so that they will be able to arrive in Chivilcoy, Argentina before the end of the year. They also feel that they need to sell their house before coming.
- that the Lord will give us wisdom in preparing a report of our ministry to share with you all while we are in the States.
- the making of our schedule to visit you and our other supporters in the States. If you have any date that you would prefer for my sharing with you, please let me know. My E-mail address, mailing address, and phone number are at the bottom of this letter.
Thank you for participating with me in this ministry through your prayers and financial support! I am looking forward to seeing you again!
